Do you have direct contracts?

Majority of our contracts are done directly with the suppliers.

How is your database structured to handle different destinations and currencies?

Our database is split into 2 connections for our 2 main destinations: Ireland denominated in EURO (including Dublin, Belfast, Cork, Galway, etc.) and United Kingdom denominated in GBP (including London, Edinburgh, Glasgow, Dundee, Inverness, Manchester, Liverpool, Cornwall, Wales, regional England etc.).

How long is your system Response time?

Depending on the type of request (web or XML) you send: the quickest is less than a second, the longest up to 25 seconds (including - rates, availability, descriptions in various languages, amenities, geolocation for all our database).

Do you cover cost from integrations from your end?

We would normally cover development costs at our end related to our system only however this is reviewed on a case-by-case basis depending on whether it is a PUSH or PULL integration required.

Do you cover any cost for us to integrate?

We usually do not but depending on the level of business you can bring; we can investigate this.

How does the payment work, is all pre-payment or do we have payment after the event?

With an XML connection, generally clients get credit with us. It really depends on the references you would be able to provide us with. And the Volume of bookings expected, On the website we can work, both with a credit line or credit card payments at time of booking. However, we are now introducing a VCC payment option to avoid long credit process, this will be an easy and faster process.

Do you have multi-currency options available on xml connections?

Our Rates are in EUR for the Ireland database for Ireland and Northern Ireland. Rates are in GBP for the UK Database. However, we can offer final prices in other currencies where required.

Are there any restriction for selling channels? (B2B/B2C)

Abbey is a purely B2B business and all our inventory should only ever be distributed via B2B тАУ We have only a 15 % of the hotels distribution for B2C and this will require a separated online access to ensure to avoid any potential breach.

Do you have mapping data with third parties like GIATA, Agoda, or Expedia?

Yes, we currently work with GIATA & Vervotech for mapping.

Can we cancel by API?

Yes, there is cancellation option via API.
